The number on the right is the relative rating for you, higher is better, but it's not necessarily the rating you would give the game - just bear in mind that higher is better, and later in the list is more confident. The recommendations are in ascending order of confidence. Thanks for your interest! Here's what it spat out. and I'm back! I have a backlog to get through, but will get to all of them shortly! It's only my second time getting gilded, and I honestly have no idea what I actually get for that since I didn't really use it last time, but I'm going to assume it's an endless supply of red wine and victory points. Thanks!ĮDIT: in case you missed it in my first response to lucky #1 Tozon, "The recommendations are in ascending order of confidence. If you don't have a BGG account with 5 ratings, and want some recommendations from me, just create one and rate some games! Games where you disagree with the public consensus are the most helpful for recommendations. It specifically looks for "gems in the rough", so the recommendations tend to be games that aren't in the BGG top 100, which is what I wanted. If you post here or PM me your BGG username, and have at least 5 game ratings on your account, I will use your past game ratings to give you recommendations in four categories: games to avoid games you may find underrated older (= 2010) games you may enjoy. It uses a huge database of game ratings to make personalized Amazon-style game recommendations. It turned out to be pretty good so I'd like to offer my services for anyone looking for some game recommendations. I was frustrated with boardgamegeek recommendations so I built a board game recommender for my personal use. Wolves have complicated relationships, and that should be considered before hunting.FINAL EDIT: Hi all, this thread exploded! So much so that I wrote a Reddit bot to do game recommendations. I dont know how well DNR monitors packs, but I wonder if they could send hunters to look in certain areas, but only allow certain wolves to be shot, aka keeping in mind pack dynamics and how the loss of the Alpha or a certain pack member might negatively effect the group. Having a season brings in revenue for the dnr and conservation efforts, brings people from out of state, is good for some tourism, etc, but it also brings awareness and keeps conservation issues about wolves in the news every once in a while so the general population doesnt just forget about it. Do I understand that there are benefits from controlled hunting? Yes. Give a certain number of people one tag with a limit to bag, then do another batch, say 50 people at a time x 4 weeks total to hunt (aka 1 week per group) Do I really think wolves need to be hunted? Absolutely not. Just dont do an OPEN season and do a TAGGED LIMITED season.Įdit: Agreeing with a lottery system. They get the pop down too low, lots of money needs to go into bringing the pop up again, people complain about the amount of money used, wolf pop gets up to a good point again, hunting is open, people enraged by money spent on conservation as well as regular macho idiot types and (unfortunately) decent hunters end up killing too many, and repeat for the next group when they are old enough to finally hunt after growing up with this rhetoric. Every time the DNR gives the pikachu face like 'oh noes why did you kill so many' This ALWAYS HAPPENS when you open wolf hunts. ![]()
